Today is a new day. That means I have new choices. That means today doesn’t have to be like yesterday. Or tomorrow. Today is it’s own space. I have the power to mold it instead of allowing it to mold me, and today I will exercise that muscle.

Sometimes all I need is a good cry. Just happens that I’ve been needing it more often lately.
To see and hear what is here instead of what should be, was, or will be.
To say what one feels an thinks, instead of what one should.
To feel what one feels, instead of what one ought.
To ask for what one wants, instead of always waiting for permission.
To take risks in one’s own behalf, instead of choosing to be only “secure” and not rocking the boat.
